Your vacation begins when our
representative greets you at Windhoek airport and assists you with your short
flight to Sossusvlei Wilderness Camp. Enjoy an early morning excursion to the
magnificent Sossusvlei dunes which, at a 1000 feet above the surrounding
plains, are said to be the highest in the world. The spectacle of changing
colors and the lonely Oryx silhouetted against red dunes is one which visitors
and photographers from around the world come to savor and capture on film.
After two nights you fly north to the
most successful ecotourism venture in Namibia, Damaraland Camp. Located on the
north bank of the Huab River Valley you may have an opportunity to see the rare
and endangered desert Elephant and Black Rhinoceros, Oryx, Kudu, Springbok in
this desert environment.
In the heart of the Etosha National
Park is Ongava Tented Camp and Namibia's premier game viewing and your home for
two nights. Large herds of plains game concentrate at the waterholes in the dry
season making for exciting game viewing and Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah,
Giraffe and Zebra are year round visitors.
You now travel west to Botswana and the
unique Okavango Delta.
At Kwara you will enjoy a variety of
activities including game drives, bush walks with your guides, boat cruises,
mokoro trails and fishing. In the waterways of Kwara you will encounter an
amazing number and variety of bird species. Predators such as lion, hyena, wild
dog and cheetah are abundant in the area.
The wetlands and flood plains around
Lebala offer a wonderful variety of wildlife with excellent sightings of
elephant, hippo, zebra, giraffe, buffalo and the ever present predators: wild
dog, lion, cheetah and hyena.
A gentle introduction to the cultural
side of Africa awaits you at Songwe. Set in an intimate and beautiful location
you may visit the 700 year old Mukuni Village, walk along the gorge and take in
the incredible scenes, or picnic on the banks of the Upper Zambezi. For the
adventurous there is white water rafting, bungee jumping and even a micro-light
flight over the Falls.
