Introduction
The Galapagos Archipelago consists of 13 major
islands, 17 smaller islands and more than 40 rocks covering an area of 3100
square miles. 90% of the land surface and the entire ocean area are
incorporated into the Galapagos National Park. Within the National Park there
are 54 landing sites, the only locations travelers are permitted to visit
within the park. Each cruise calls on a selection of these visitor sites in a
pre-determined itinerary authorized by the National Park Service. Each
itinerary is coordinated allowing our guests a unique island experience while
minimizing the effect of tourism on the islands.

How long can you travel for?
The majority of Galapagos Island cruises are either 5
or 7 nights. Additionally you will need at least one more night to travel from
the USA to Ecuador and ideally you will add a second night in Quito before your
cruise departs to avoid problems in the event your flights are delayed. The
majority of flights arrive in Quito late evening and depart for the USA late
night. A realistic time for your cruise, including travel from and back to the
USA will be 8 nights total for a 5 night cruise and 10 nights total for a 7
night cruise.

from the USA, two nights in a Quito hotel, your flight from Quito to the
Galapagos Islands and return, Galapagos Islands tax (currently US$100 per
